Feasibility Reports

MO-KAN-NE (MKN) Chapter Feasibility Study

 

The MO-KAN-NE Chapter of the Educational Opportunity Association (MKN) conducted a comprehensive feasibility study to evaluate its current organizational structure, volunteer capacity, and member engagement across Missouri, Kansas, and Nebraska. Presented on November 17, 2025, the report outlines a roadmap for modernizing the chapter to ensure long-term sustainability and inclusivity. The central goal of these reforms is to move from a traditional volunteer-led model to a functionally integrated organization. By simplifying participation and clarifying leadership pathways, MKN aims to remain a vibrant, equitable, and sustainable advocate for educational opportunity

MKN Committee Restructure Proposal

The MKN Committee Restructure Proposal is a strategic framework developed by the 2025 Feasibility Study Task Force. It aims to modernize the chapter’s operations by consolidating its current, complex network of over 20 committees into a more manageable, collaborative, and values-based model.
