Service Description
This is the registration ticket for all students and staff to be in attendance at the 2026 Student Leadership Conference in Avila on October 19, 2026. Each Student Leadership Conference includes a KLC training, lunch, college visit, and museum visit. The KLC training will include the following: Session Title: LEADERSHIP STARTS WITH YOU Objectives: Name your biggest concerns and greatest aspirations for the future of your school or community. Distinguish between technical problems that can be solved by authorities and experts, and adaptive challenges that require many people exercising leadership (including you). Describe the leadership principles "leadership is an activity, not a position" and "anyone can lead, anytime, anywhere." Identify one of five ways leadership can start with you on challenges you care about. Outline: Identify the Gap (30 minutes) Redefining Leadership (15 minutes) Five Ways Leadership Starts with You (45 minutes)

Cancellation Policy
I hereby acknowledge my understanding that our program will be invoiced for the full cost of registration of $125 per registrant. I also agree and understand that our program is obligated to pay for these registrations and that no refunds will be available after September 30, 2026. Cancellation Policy - Refunds for cancellation of conference registration will be given ONLY when a written cancellation request is submitted to the Student Leadership Conference Registration Chair, Steven Mutz (cobain@ku.edu), and Stephanie Raymond (sraymond@missouri.edu) by September 29, 2026. A processing fee of $50 shall be assessed against all canceled registrations. If a written cancellation is not received before September 29, 2026, no refund will be given.
